Our role

While at Buro Four, Martin created the design programme for Mae that was subsequently agreed with Atkins and the client, City West Homes.

Monthly “dashboard reports” summarised the progress of the design and enabled the client to understand any issues that arose in timely fashion. These documents were also used by the designers to record their key design issues in their strategic reports.

Project details

This project is a residential scheme by Mae Architects. Designed to HAPPI recommendations (Housing for an Aging Population Panel for Innovation), it comprises 45 flats, healthcare facilities and a small enterprise space.

The scheme was developed to RIBA Stage D by Mae, with engineering and planning input by Atkins. Outline planning consent was granted in April 2014.
