Project management
At the core of our construction project management service is project leadership combined with management of the day-to-day processes. More complex and larger construction projects often require a project manager to address a number of additional key issues; from managing the process of commissioning of a design team to guiding the project through the construction process, and finally managing the handover of the new building.

Contract administration / employer’s agent
When a client engages a contractor, the contract form will usually name a contract administrator or employer’s agent. Both of these roles can be provided by Ashfold. In this role we are administrator of the clients’ contractual obligations. This includes the drafting and signing of the contract, drafting of instructions, agreeing snag lists, and writing the certificate of practical completion.

Programming and planning
A core skill of any construction project manager is the programming of design and construction works. The Ashfold team undertake programming and planning as a stand-alone role, or as part of our broader role as construction project manager.
Design management
Ashfold offer pre-construction design team management to architects and engineers named as lead designers on larger projects.

Construction management plans form an increasingly important part of complex planning applications and Ashfold can be commissioned by the project client to write these plans, plus contribute to waste management plans and construction sequences.
