Social Responsibliity

Social responsibility is about more than ensuring you’ve reached a minimum standard. At Ashfold we believe it should be about playing an active role in our communities and making a tangible difference.

We are very proud of our team for giving so much of their own time, expertise and effort. Here’s a selection of the community organisations Ashfold supports. In addition, we sponsor charity events and activities throughout the year – keep an eye on our news to find out how you can get involved.

Knights Youth Centre

Ashfold has supported the Knights Youth Centre on Clapham Park Estate in Lambeth for many years. The centre provides positive experiences and opportunities that enable the young people in their care to become confident, safe and independent. Find out how you can get involved here.

Battersea Arts Centre

We were proud to support the redevelopment of the award-winning Battersea Arts Centre. Housed in a former Grade 2* listed town hall, Battersea Arts Centre offers the local community a wide range of cultural and arts activities. Read more about the redevelopment project here.

Martin offered his construction management services pro-bono. He also provided access to Ashfold’s network of professionals and contractors to help the team complete the project and ensure its long-term future. Please get in touch if you would like to help with the centre’s future development plans.

The Carter community events

Ashfold has organised and taken part in several community events for The Carter at 11 Pilgrim Street in central London. Thanks to our client and team for their enthusiasm and commitment – ISG, Stiff + Trevillion Architects, Webb Yates Engineers, Atelier Ten and Exigere.

The Girls Network

Our project manager Emily Churchill is a mentor for The Girls Network. This charity aim to inspire and empower girls from the least advantaged communities by connecting them to a professional mentor. Find out how you can support their work here.

Bishop Gilpin Church of England Primary School

Martin is an Associate Governor at Bishop Gilpin School with particular involvement in the management of the premises.
