11 Pilgrim Street (The Carter) gets green light
Ashfold has been appointed by Lannacombe Projects for the upcoming refurbishment of 11 Pilgrim Street, or “The Carter” as it is going to be known. Initially acting as advisor to the Development Manager at RIBA Stage 2, we will take over as Project Manager and Client’s Agent from Stage 3 onwards.
Designed by architects Stiff + Trevillion, the finished project will maximise space in the building on Pilgrim Street, based in the St Paul’s area of the City of London. The ground floor will be reconfigured and the atrium removed. An extra level of office space is coming to the seventh floor providing increased accommodation. Facilities for active travel and cycle storage replace the former car park. The project focuses on minimising waste and is seeking to achieve BREEAM excellent status.
Others involved in the project include Simten, Atelier Ten, Webb Yates Engineers and Orsa. We look forward to progressing the project and seeing it come to fruition in due course. Keep an eye on our social media channels and website for updates.
Work commences in Quarter Three of 2021.
