Work recommences on The Laszlo
Previously known as Bellside House, The Laszlo is a Victorian factory conversion in North London.
Demolition works that had commenced before the Covid19 lockdown have been resumed and now the soft strip and demolition phase is almost complete. New steelwork has been fabricated and installed along with block-work walls, and the M+E install has also commenced.
The building is being developed as unique, high quality office space with openable windows, gorgeous original floor plates and generous floor to floor heights that reveal stunning views to the north, and to the south into Central London. The design reflects the original building wherever possible with some interesting modern interventions. Where appropriate the discovery of original features will be celebrated.
Built by Open Contracts – who we recently worked with on Elsley House – the professional team consists of Henley HaleBrown, PJCE Structural engineer, PDA services engineers, and QS Exigere. The building will complete in the first quarter of 2021.
