ISBA Estate Management Conference
As part of this month’s ISBA Estate Management Conference Martin presented to 60 delegates, alongside architect Ed Toovey, who Ashfold is currently working with on an independent school project.
Martin focused on project management techniques Ashfold has used recently to help deliver high quality projects for independent schools. In particular he spoke about developing professional teams, making timely decisions, creating suitable reporting structures, the role of digital tools and using creativity and innovation to get better value. Commenting on his talk, Paul Simpson of ISBA said “Martin’s talk prompted a good level of discussion amongst our members and helped to raise awareness of the important issues facing estate bursars today when thinking about development projects.”
